Every 5 seconds someones #eyes go #blind and every 20 seconds someones #life is lost to #tuberculosis. The #hospitals in the west stores equipment which never will be used anymore because it is „old“, but still modern enough in #developing #countries. We can collect all the equipment and deliver it together with medication where needed to build new hospitals and medical centers.
#Moonlight Air #Organization will #fly also #missions with a #mobile #hospital to perform #eye, #heart and other #emergency #surgeries for #babies, #teenagers and #adults. We carry #Medical #professionals together with this #flying hospital to the peoples. The local medical staff undergo further #training through western #professionals at the same time.
Given by the UN:
Ensuring healthy lives and promoting the well-being for all at all ages is essential to sustainable development. Significant strides have been made in increasing life expectancy and reducing some of the common killers associated with child and maternal mortality. Major progress has been made on increasing access to clean water and sanitation, reducing malaria, tuberculosis, polio and the spread of HIV/AIDS. However, many more efforts are needed to fully eradicate a wide range of diseases and address many different persistent and emerging health issues.
We #construct new #schools, deliver #equipment and #education#material. Because we also #stimulate the local #industry and #generating new jobs and therefore #perspectives, this will help the children to visit a school and to get their education instead of doing child labor. By working #together with #volunteers from educational sectors we can improve the skills additionally until enough local professionals are available to teach their own peoples. Education is one of the important basic we need to build up to achieve the other goals.
Given by the UN:
Obtaining a quality education is the foundation to improving people’s lives and sustainable development. Major progress has been made towards increasing access to education at all levels and increasing enrolment rates in schools particularly for women and girls. Basic literacy skills have improved tremendously, yet bolder efforts are needed to make even greater strides for achieving universal education goals. For example, the world has achieved equality in primary education between girls and boys, but few countries have achieved that target at all levels of education.
Well, this is a kind of a bad experience #pilots are faced with from time to time because of their #worldwide #flight #trips. Unfortunately, in some #countries / #cultures the man’s life is not equal to a women’s life. To change the #approach and in some cases the mindset of an entire culture and it leaders is quite challenging. The most heartbreaking part of it all is, that this change will take at least two or three #generationsuntil a #new #life can start. Therefore we need to #communicate and further #educate the people as a kind of a #basic #establishment which brings us to goal number 4: Education
Given by the UN:
While the world has achieved progress towards gender equality and women’s empowerment under the Millennium Development Goals (including equal access to primary education between girls and boys), women and girls continue to suffer discrimination and violence in every part of the world.
Gender equality is not only a fundamental human right, but a necessary foundation for a peaceful, prosperous and sustainable world.
Providing women and girls with equal access to education, health care, decent work, and representation in political and economic decision-making processes will fuel sustainable economies and benefit societies and humanity at large.
We #transport #material to build #water #fountains and #pipe #systems.
Western #professionals train locals how to build and how to maintain it. We will also work with western companies providing #new #technologieshow to #clean #dirty #water. This sector is generating a high business potential for the good and allows western companies to provide more innovation and ideas to countries where clean water #sanitation#installation is needed.
Given by the UN:
Clean, accessible water for all is an essential part of the world we want to live in. There is sufficient fresh water on the planet to achieve this. But due to bad economics or poor infrastructure, every year millions of people, most of them children, die from diseases associated with inadequate water supply, sanitation and hygiene.
Water scarcity, poor water quality and inadequate sanitation negatively impact food security, livelihood choices and educational opportunities for poor families across the world. Drought afflicts some of the world’s poorest countries, worsening hunger and malnutrition.
By 2050, at least one in four people is likely to live in a country affected by chronic or recurring shortages of fresh water.
Before that, 38 earthquakes have been registered around #the #ring #of #fire and 16 of it were stronger than 4.0 and happened in #Fiji, #Peru, #Indonesia and #Japan. Within 24 hours, a total of 53 earthquakes have been registered around the ring of fire with a magnitude of 2.5 and up.
How an emergency aid mission from Moonlight Air Organization will look like in such an event:
The earthquake happened 23:40 UTC (17:40 local time). At the time we receive the emergency request, the standby crew and volunteers will be informed. Because we have up to 100 tons of #emergency #aid stored in our warehouse at the airport, the aircraft can be loaded within 2 hours. During the same time, the flight crew will be briefed about the #mission, #flight #route, #weather, ect. The aircraft take off at 02:00 UTC with 5 crews and 15 volunteers on board. The entire journey take 15 hours including one fuel stop, so the aircraft will land just before 12:00 local time directly in #Oaxaca airport.
We transport #green #energy in form of a #tower or #generator depend on #local and #geographical #situation (#solar cells, #wind #turbines, #water turbines, etc). We will work together with western companies, providing high potential for B2B and win-win situations as well micro financing #projects from third parties. Today, the transportation of #modern #technology is challenging, costly and sometimes #critical. While we offer affordable #space, #safety, short and #direct #ways we open a new #window to build up and provide #modern and green energy services all over the world.
Given by the UN:
Energy is central to nearly every major challenge and opportunity the world faces today. Be it for jobs, security, climate change, food production or increasing incomes, access to energy for all is essential.
Sustainable energy is opportunity – it transforms lives, economies and the planet.
UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon is leading a Sustainable Energy for All initiative to ensure universal access to modern energy services, improve efficiency and increase use of renewable sources.
#Education is the final #solution to achieve all this 5 #goals.
Education or at least any kind of access to it generates #future#prospects, a better understanding of #economy, ensuring equal #opportunities, promoting the reduction of inequalities and the promotion of #equality between #man and #women. Finally, education has also an economical effect. It will #stimulate and #innovate the local #business and generating new #job #opportunities.
#Moonlight Air #Organization deliver #material to build #schools at any location and to equip them with sufficient #learning #supplies in various #languages. How many tons of school material is gathering #dust in the #cellar or will be #destroyed. We can collect this all and deliver it to people are willing to learn and this material is at no cost and still good enough. The same with #old #clothes, #toys, #electronics, etc.
Because of our mission concept, we support the west and the developing countries. Moonlight Air Organization is a bridge-builder, reducing risks and challenges and boosting the access to new opportunities same time. We also can boost the economical grow by establishing new win-win and business-to-business solutions with #professionals and companies, new options for micro-finance and other investments, etc.
The chances are truly endless.
